Asian Artist and Activities Hub (AAAAH) was founded in 2023 and received 501(c)(3) status in 2025, by a group of design students who observed a persistent gap in the city's cultural landscape: while emerging AAPI artists, designers, and creative entrepreneurs were producing vital and distinctive work, the infrastructure connecting them to broader audiences, institutions, and markets was largely absent. AAAAH was created to build that infrastructure — not as an observer of the community, but as an active participant within it.

Our mission is to advance the visibility, understanding, and economic sustainability of AAPI artists and designers through practice-based cultural research and community-driven public platforms. Our vision is a cultural landscape where AAPI creative practice is systematically understood, publicly visible, and supported by the infrastructure for artists and designers to build sustainable practices on their own terms.
